Hey, Dr. Corey P here, P Chiropractic.
One of my passions is helping athletes
to function better and to recover more
quickly from injuries. And we work with
a lot of young athletes. And what we
find is that sports these days are
geared toward year round performance for
these athletes. And whether they’re a
single sport athlete or a multisport
athlete, there never really seems to be
a clearly defined off season anymore.
And so it’s imperative that we can work
on these kids and get them strong and
healthy, help them recover from
injuries, you know, as quickly as
possible, but then to know when can we
leave them actively involved in their
sport and when do we need to take a
break. In my world, if I can keep an
athlete functioning and competing
without taking them out of the sport,
help them to recover and get stronger,
better, pain-free, and functional
without removing them from the sport,
then it’s a great win. And a lot of
parents and athletes, of course, prefer
that method. If we can get you better
without having to take you out and then
reintroduce you to your sport, then all
the better. Uh, but sometimes it really
is necessary that we that we just take a
pause in order for the body to heal. But
my preferred thing is if we are able to
get you functioning healthy, strong, and
healed while you’re still competing,
then that’s a win for everybody. So get
these young athletes in, they benefit
from chiropractic all kinds of ways,
large and small. Whether it’s just
recovering from injury or performing at
their best possible way. Chiropractic is
something that absolutely should be part
of your healthcare team, part of the
discipline that helps these kids to grow
strong and healthy and not have big
issues in the future.
