I’ve heard people say, you know, if
chiropractic is so wonderful and great,
why has my doctor never sent me to a
chiropractor? My doctor sent me to a
physical therapist. He put me on
anti-inflammatories and and muscle
relaxants. He gave me narcotics for
pain. He sent me to a pain specialist.
We got an MRI. And then I went to see a
neurosurgeon. But never along the way
did my doctor ever say to me, “You might
benefit from chiropractic care.” And the
answer to that, unfortunately, it may be
that your doctor really has no idea what
it is that a chiropractic physician
does. It may be the case that the only
experience your doctor has ever had with
chiropractic is watching those
cheeseball videos on Facebook of
chiropractors yanking on people’s
spines. And so, there’s good reasons why
chiropractic may have been neglected by
your other health healthcare providers
in terms of referring you for
chiropractic care. But I want to take
this time to invite you to consider
chiropractic often as maybe the one
thing you never have tried that might be
the most valuable thing that you could
do for your body and for your health.
